Flow tells the story of a cat who embarks on an adventure after his home and world around him are destroyed by a flood. Throughout his journey, he encounters lemurs, capybaras, and other animals who, like him, are just trying to survive. It's a rather unconventional film in that its animation and sound design tell the entire story – without a single line of dialogue.

Flow's 4K digital transmission and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround sound upgrade were approved by Zilbalodis. All three versions are based on 4K transfers, so the 1080p and DVD versions will look better than the regular Blu-ray/DVD.

Animated films make up only a small portion of Criterion's catalog. The biggest animated film in the Criterion series is undoubtedly WALL-Ewon the 2009 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. “Wall-E” is the only Pixar (or Disney) animated feature in Criterion's library. Director Andrew Stanton recommended it to Criterion and oversaw the remaster, so this is the best version of WALL-E available; it's also arguably the best 4K Blu-ray of any Pixar or Disney animated film, thanks to visual and audio enhancements and a treasure trove of special features.
In terms of visuals, WALL-E offers Dolby Vision and HDR10+. In terms of audio, the film has three surround sound tracks: Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD 7.1 and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. WALL-E is a three-disc collection containing approximately four hours of bonus content. Needless to say, Criterion's 4K Blu-ray version of Wall-E is a must-buy for Pixar fans, especially since it's only $25 (originally $50).
