“Arc Raiders” once again exceeded the Steam concurrency peak, this time approaching 500,000 simultaneous players

Arclight Guide I had another great weekend and once again broke my own concurrent record on Steam.

Embark Studio's new extraction shooter releases within a day Steam concurrent players peak at 264,673making it one of the biggest extraction shooters ever released on the Valve platform. Now it's even broken that record over the weekend, hitting a concurrent peak of 462,488 players, according to official data from Valve.

Yesterday, November 9th, Arc Raiders had a higher peak concurrency than Battlefield 6 (441,035), just behind the ever-popular Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. Of course, Arc Raiders' true peak concurrent players will be higher given that the game is also playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, but neither Sony nor Microsoft has disclosed its player numbers.
