EA and BioWare “remain committed” to next Mass Effect game — and yes, romance will return

Finally, in other Mass Effect news, BioWare confirmed today that Amazon's upcoming TV adaptation will tell a new story following the events of the series' original trilogy — rather than a retelling of Commander Shepard's adventures like the series' original trilogy. It's a shrewd move that avoids contradicting players' own stories – and potentially ties the TV show to the next Mass Effect game, which fans believe will be set hundreds of years after the ending of Mass Effect 3.

“Everyone is yelling at me for not using N7 Day to provide a ton of information… I mean, I get it,” Gamble said afterward release on social media. “I'm a fan too. I want you to see something.
