Sonic Racing: Crossover finally has a Nintendo Switch 2 release date, and it's not that far away

Sonic Racing: Crossover Worlds It will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4, 2025.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version will be available digitally to players for $69.99/£64.99. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack will also be available to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds owners for $10/£10, allowing content and progress to be transferred.

A physical version is coming soon – Sega says it will “deliver the complete base game on cartridge” – but isn't expected to be released until “early 2026”. Sega also revealed that there will not be a limited edition collector's edition of the game for the Nintendo Switch 2, nor will there be any pre-order offers for that specific version of the game.
