Marvel's 1943: Rise of Hydra delayed to “after early 2026”

GTA 6 isn't the only high-profile video game to be delayed today— Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra itself suffered delays.

Arrive in an hour Rockstar announces GTA 6 has been delayed from May 2026 to November 2026Skydance Games announced that Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has been delayed until “after early 2026.” Skydance Games said in a statement that the delay was necessary “in order to fully realize our vision.” It's worth noting that no new release window has been provided. This is another delay for Rise of Hydra, May postponed to 2025 to early 2026.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is a narrative-driven adventure starring Captain America, 1940s-era Black Panther, Gabriel Jones of the Howling Commandos, and Nunnally, the Wakandan spy lurking in occupied Paris.

The game is making headlines in early 2024 after releasing a striking trailer at Epic Games' State of Unreal event at GDC. The game is being developed by the Skydance Games team, led by Hennig (Uncharted) and co-president Julian Beak.

Hennig's Skydance team is also working on untitled star wars gamehas not yet been fully revealed.
