'This is awesome' – Battlefield 6 players flock to giant fan-made Conquest map as map size debate intensifies
Blog Andrew Joseph 06 Nov , 2025 0
this Battlefield 6 The community has been asking for bigger Conquest maps for months, so someone made their own – and they're actually pretty popular.
Since the game's release, fans have been asking EA and Battlefield Studios about everything, including: Aim assist adjustment arrive Realistic skinbut few conversations capture as much attention as the discussion around map size. Although some players We went to great lengths to determine if the Battlefield 6 map is as small as it looks and others take review bombingmore creative folks are making their own larger maps using Battlefield Portal and REDSEC.
Thanks to the efforts of Reddit users kurtinthegrind and andy_6170 (aka ViperAndyStudios), the Battlefield 6 community now has Club House, a massive Conquest gaming area that pulls elements from REDSEC's Southern California Lindenberg map to create an (unofficial) version of the wide-open spaces they've been asking for. There are also Tech Center and Operations Tech Center map options, with the former set up as a large, infantry-focused conquest map, while the latter offers linear gameplay centered around a main building.
“Credit for the original version of Tech Center and the Conquest script belongs to Andy,” kuttingamo says“although I made some modifications to them.
“Club House and a smaller version of Tech Center are my creations, and to be honest, I'm not too proud of them. But until Ripple Effect/Battlefield Studios delivers improved Portal support and releases all parts of the Battle Royale map, it'll suffice.”
Currently, both bot and bot-free versions of the Clubhouse and Tech Center maps are available for players to create servers, but it's Clubhouse that's getting the most attention online. In the middle of Wednesday, the map, also known as golf coursehas hundreds of active players across Battlefield 6's different server browsers, with some 64-player servers made up almost entirely of real people.
We played a few games at Club House and found that even with about 30 players per team, combat encounters felt spread out, with infantry requiring long sprints to reach each conquest objective without having to redeploy. Everything from small vehicles like golf carts to attack helicopters and tanks can help with travel, ticket prices are above average, and the game area is relatively large, giving more room for vehicle battles and long matches.
“This is great,” one Popular comments explain. “Fingers crossed they actually put these in the official map rotation. For now, I'll just play with my squad.”
It's certainly a change of pace compared to other standard Conquest maps, and it's an experience that people playing in Clubhouse seem to enjoy. Our brief interactions with real-world players saw in-game chat flooded with comments praising the map's long, clear sightlines and vehicular combat potential.
Portal game modes (including Club House Conquest) have loyal fans, even if modifying the XP rate means everyone's progress is significantly slowed down. A Battlefield 6 player Brought to Reddit After trying out the mode himself, he said, “For the first time, I felt like I could breathe in this game.”
“There are so many small, cramped, and poorly designed maps in this game that I never had much of a chance to play properly without constantly fighting opponents in tight alleys or buildings,” the popular post said.
“I think there should be maps like in BF3/4, small maps, medium maps, and large maps – I know I haven't discovered anything new yet and everyone has been saying this since the game launched, but we need to keep talking about it until we finally get a comment on this.”
While some have begun calling for these fan-made maps to be added to the official Battlefield 6 playlist, others believe that the presence of Club House and other similar large-scale conquest maps is only proof that Portal is working as the developers intended. At this time, it's unclear whether such a Portal experience will receive greater attention from BF Studios.
While BF Studios hasn't yet confirmed how big Battlefield 6's future maps will be, we do know that there are many, many more coming. The first post-release map, Blackwell Fields, is criticized by fansbut another new map called Eastwood is just a few weeks away. Both locations are included in Season 1with more content coming in the coming months as future seasons roll out.
