Cyberpunk creator writes to Keanu Reeves: 'Contact me'

Cyberpunk creator Mike Pondsmith has discussed the possibility of Johnny Silverhand actor Keanu Reeves returning to the role, asking The Matrix star to give him a call.

Given this, it seems possible that he could return in Cyberpunk 2, but that's far from guaranteed to happen, as it will depend on a combination of countless factors.

Pondsmith also discussed how another celebrity might appear in a Cyberpunk project, following Reeves and Idris Elba (who played Solomon Reed in the hit Cyberpunk 2077 expansion Phantom Free).

“What's next? Scarlett Johansson?” Pondsmith said. “Scarlett, you know, I have some roles for you. You can do anything.”

There's currently no release date for Cyberpunk 2, but no one is expecting it anytime soon. As for CD Projekt's other upcoming games, the company is working on The Witcher 4 and are co-producing A remaster of the original Witcher game Fool theory with developers.
