Resident Evil Requiem is now available for pre-order: here's what's included in each version

Resident Evil Requiem will be released on PS5, Xbox, Switch 2 and PC on February 27th. It puts you in the role of Grace Ashcroft, an FBI intelligence analyst who, unlike most Resident Evil protagonists, isn't used to fighting terrifying enemies. It also lets you switch between first- and third-person perspectives at any time.

RE Requiem is now available for pre-order (see it on amazon). It comes in multiple versions and comes with some nifty extras, so read on for details on each version.

Pre-orders are not available yet, but Capcom announced The company will release the Grace Ashcroft amiibo in summer 2026.

What is Resident Evil Requiem?

The game begins when a body is discovered in an abandoned hotel. The man appears to have died of a strange, unidentified disease. You, as FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, are assigned to investigate a mysterious death that happens to occur at the same hotel where your mother died eight years ago.

As you confront your own painful past, you'll also discover connections between this new body and the events in Raccoon City – your mother was a reporter in Raccoon City who escaped the massacre.

As for gameplay, you can switch between first- and third-person perspectives at any time. As one of our game reviewers discovered during one playthrough, there appears to be another murderous character chasing you in the game. Resident Evil Requiem Hands-On Preview.
