Star Wars: Infinite TCG gets its own Pokemon Battle Academy-style intro game

Asmodee takes a page from the Pokemon playbook and adds an updated twist Star Wars: Infinite TCG Table of contents. Battle Hoth Introduction is a standalone experience for players new to the official Star Wars Trading Card Game. It is conceptually very similar to Pokemon TCG: Battle Academy and Disney Locana: Gateway. The fast-paced Star Wars Infinite is available now for $20. As an added bonus, the game is themed to the Battle of Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back.

Battle Hoth is a head-to-head game for two players and takes approximately 20 minutes to play. Asmodee recommends Star Wars Infinite for players ages 12 and up.
The $20 “New Player Game” comes with two pre-made 50-card decks. Princess Leia and the Rebels must defend Echo Base from Darth Vader and his Imperial forces. Much like Pokemon Battle Academy, Intro Battle Hoth comes with an illustrated game board with card locations marked on it.
There's also a complete rulebook and all the accessories you need for the game. Here's the full list of what's inside the box:

“Star Wars: Infinite TCG” was first launched in March 2024 and contains 252 cards called Spark of Rebellion. Since then, Asmodee has released four more games, with the next set, Secrets of Thrones, set to be released on November 7. The prolific card/board game maker has confirmed it will release three sets of Star Wars: Infinite TCG: Lawless, Ashes of the Empire and Star Wars Infinite TCG in 2026. home.

Star Wars: Infinite Starter Bundle

The first three Star Wars Infinite bundles start with a $35 starter pack that includes two pre-made decks.
Each starter set comes with two 50-card decks (10 of which are exclusive) and a card box with designated leader art. The starter set also comes with a quick-start rules guide and various damage counters.

In 2025, Asmodee ditched the starter set in favor of a pair of standalone decks called Spotlight Decks.
Each Spotlight Deck comes with 50 cards (four of which are exclusive) and a 16-card booster pack. It's worth noting that the 50 cards include some from previous sets. Each deck has a designated leader

The Spotlight Deck is also available in 6-packs. These are primarily designed for tournaments and larger groups of friends, as each Spotlight Deck comes with 3 of each in the box.

Booster boxes contain 24 packs of 16 cards each, for a total of 384 cards. Booster Packs retail for $6 each, so the Booster Box gets you four free packs at MSRP. Each Star Wars: Infinite Booster Pack contains: 9 Common Cards, 3 Uncommon Cards, 1 Rare or Legendary Card, 1 Leader Card, 1 Base/Token, and 1 Foil Card.

Star Wars: Infinity Pre-release Box
Despite the “pre-release box” moniker, these aren't exclusive, limited-time bundles. Prerelease boxes are essentially Elite Trainer boxes or MTG bundles, albeit smaller (and cheaper). Each prerelease box comes with six booster packs, each containing 16 cards. You'll also get two exclusive promo codes for the Rebel and Imperial leaders in the set. In addition to the cards, the pre-release box also comes with a damage counter and quick start guide.
Star Wars: Infinite 2025 Gift Box
On November 5, Asmodee released the Star Wars Infinite 2025 gift box. It's not available for pre-order on Amazon, but you can buy it from Walmart. The box costs $30 and includes eight booster packs, two exclusive variant cards, and an oversized leader card. You'll get two boosters from each of the following sets: Secrets of Power, Legends of the Force, Lightspeed Jump, Twilight of the Republic.
