Screenshots of canceled multiplayer God of War game leaked, hinting at return to Greece and notorious former villain

Details and images of Sony's canceled multiplayer God of War livestream have leaked online.
At the beginning of the year, Sony cancels two unannounced live service games in development by Bend Studio and Bluepoint Gamesthe latter is considered a multiplayer God of War game.
Now, some screenshot Content taken from the canceled project has reportedly been released by MP1 computerhinting that the game may once again be set in Greece and feature a range of different settings, including caves and temples.
Two screenshots purported to be of Hades' armory, apparently showing the same area in different states, one “normal” and the other seemingly infected by a curse or otherworldly state with rust-colored stains.
Hades made his debut in 2005's God of War and appeared in God of War 2, but it wasn't until God of War 3 that he became the main villain, and died tragically at the end of the third installment. How Bluepoint plans to explain his return in this game, we may never know, but it does suggest that the Sony-owned studio is moving beyond the Nordic setting of the reboot series so far, although there are some Nordic-like touches in the screenshots, suggesting that Bluepoint is either planning to mix it up or is still trying.
Sony has yet to announce a new God of War game, although it seems inevitable that fans will get more from the series given the success of 2018's God of War and 2022's God of War Ragnarok. The question is, in what form and in what scene will “God of War” be presented next?
Speaking at MCM London Comic Con last week, Kratos actor Christopher Judge said he hopes God of War will cover the Egyptian pantheon. “Since I'm famous as Teal'c in Stargate, going to Egypt would be the completion of my circle,” he joked. “But whatever the decision is – wait for it… if there's another game, I have no doubt, whatever pantheon it is, it's going to be great.”
As for the God of War TV series? Ronald D. Moore — known for “Battlestar Galactica,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Outlander,” and “For All Mankind” — Filming a live-action series for Amazon.
