Arcade1Up's new budget-friendly Pac-Man and Mortal Kombat cabinets are now available on Amazon

Most Arcade1Up versions currently sell for $500-$600 luxury cabinetbut the leader in the home arcade market has recently returned to its roots with the Classic Special Edition Series. Each Classic SE retails for $334 and comes with 13 games pre-installed. There are currently three models available: pacman, Ms. Pac-Manand Mortal Kombat II. All three games have online leaderboards, and Mortal Kombat has an online multiplayer mode. The arcade stick, buttons, dual speakers, and overall build quality are consistent with Arcade1Up's more expensive options. When we first highlighted the lineup in September, Walmart is the only retailer selling these cabinets, but now you can Amazonalso.
They are cheaper than Arcade1Up's regular machines for several reasons. The Deluxe Edition cabinets are just over 5 feet tall, ideal for adults to stand at, while the Special Edition cabinets are just under 4 feet tall. The good news is that you can get a universal Arcade1Up Riser for only $59 This will increase the height to 5 feet. If you don't have a riser, you may need one Adjustable bar stool—Unless the cabinet is designed for children, in which case the original height may be more appropriate. The machines come with a 15.6-inch display and regular marquee, while the Deluxe version comes with a larger 17-inch screen and illuminated marquee. The front panel features the game's logo instead of a faux coin door.

Get ready for Mortal Kombat! This cabinet is a treat for fans of the classic era of Mortal Kombat, as 13 games are installed inside. You can see if you remember how to cause death in games like the original Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, Mortal Kombat 3, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. In terms of design, the cabinet is themed after Mortal Kombat 2 and includes multiple symbols from the fighting series on its surface. This is also a two-player gaming cabinet, so you can get some head-to-head competition with its dual joysticks and arcade button layout.

The cabinet also has an eye-catching design, with its bright blue finish and decals making it look like it was pulled straight out of an '80s arcade.

The Pac-Man arcade cabinet has a similar design to Ms. Pac-Man and offers nearly the same 13 games to choose from. The only real difference in the lineup is that Tadruaga has been replaced by King and Balloon. The cabinets feature a vibrant yellow finish with a retro-style Pac-Man image.

The official Arcade1Up riser adds an extra 14.25 inches to the special edition cabinet. It also adds some heft to the overall build, which is a nice bonus. Out of the box, the Special Editions weigh 36-38 pounds each, and the Riser weighs 17 pounds. Even with risers installed, these cabinets are still 10-15 pounds lighter than their luxury counterparts, yet they still feel sturdy and secure.

The Classic Special Editions are the cheapest tower cabinets in Arcade1Up's catalog, but they're not the cheapest machines overall. Amazon has a pair Arcade1Up Countertop Arcade Machine In stock now. this '81 Countercade Featuring Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga. It features a 7-inch vertical LCD screen, full-size controls, and can be powered by Micro-USB or four AA batteries (not included). In addition to Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga, the Class of '81 also includes Dig Dug.
this Pac-Man vs. Only $150. It has the same technical specifications as Class of '81 and includes three pre-installed games: Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man, and Pac-Mania.
