Luigi’s Mansion is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 before Halloween

Nintendo will launch another beloved GameCube game next week on the Switch Online + Expansion Pack service. original Luigi's Mansion Will join the classic game lineup on October 30th.
Originally released for the GameCube in November 2001, Luigi's Mansion follows Mario's timid brother as he explores a haunted house and wins a competition he's never entered before. With the help of Professor E. Gadd and his vacuum-powered Poltergust 3000, Luigi must travel through the mansion's many rooms and capture all the ghosts lurking within them.
“Luigi's Mansion” is the sixth game in the Switch Online GameCube series. The library has three games launching with the Switch 2 – The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, F-Zero GX, and SoulCalibur II – while Super Mario Strikers and Chibi-Robo were added to the lineup in July and August respectively.
Nintendo will introduce more GameCube games to the service in the future. The company has confirmed that other classic games like Super Mario Sunshine, Pokemon Colosseum, and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance are coming, but has yet to announce when they will be added.
The GameCube Collection is one of the few Switch 2-exclusive perks available to Switch Online + expansion pack subscribers. Members can also download the upgrade package for Switch 2 The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom free.
An individual subscription to the basic Nintendo Switch Online service costs $20 per year, while expansion plans cost $50 per year. Nintendo also offers an $80 annual family plan that covers up to eight Nintendo accounts across multiple systems.
