The deluxe slipcase edition of Red Rising is one of the most beautiful collectible books I’ve seen this year. Most deluxe hardcover editions of popular science fiction and fantasy novels have painted edges, illustrated endpapers, and perhaps foil artwork. But Red Rising takes it up a notch, with a full-color illustrated slipcase that features quotes from the novel printed on the back. The front and back covers also feature unique character art set against a colorful red and white background.
This edition still retains the common features of the aforementioned deluxe editions: painted margins and illustrated endpapers. For the spray-painted edges, the book's design mixes multiple shades of red to create a unique look. A full-color map of the solar system is included on the end pages. A beautiful fold-out poster depicting the military academy where Darrow and his classmates trained. The institute's Mars branch is a high-tech fortress that resembles a medieval castle. Just like in the book, this remote school is surrounded by canyons on all sides.
At 400 pages, the deluxe slipcase edition is slightly longer than the standard hardcover book of 382 pages, with overall dimensions of 9.88 x 6.63 x 1.5 inches, making it slightly larger. These figures include the slipcase; the actual book is approximately the same size as a standard hardcover book (9.5 x 6.38 x 1.25 inches).

We have additional images of the deluxe slipcase edition at the bottom of this article.

Books 4-6, known as the “Iron Gold Trilogy”, are still told from the first-person perspective, but with Darrow as one of four narrators. All six books are available at hardcover, paperbackand Kindle e-book Format. this audiobook version The narration by Tim Gerald Reynolds is also very good.
The books in the “Red Rising” series are character-centered science fiction novels. They are fast-paced and full of action, exciting twists and high-stakes moments. It's worth noting that while the first book is only about 400 pages long, some of the Red Rising books are doorstops. Iron Gold (Volume 5) is the longest at 800 pages, while Lightbringer (Volume 6) is over 700 pages. The time investment is worth it, and with a release date for The Red God (Book 7) not yet set, you have time to catch up.
