Longtime Pokemon fans will tell you that there's nothing better than the “gotta catch 'em” power-up that each game offers. Pokemon Legends: ZA There are of course hundreds of critters to capture and raise, from multiple generations throughout the series. The zoo in the game looks impressive so far, as we see classic Pokémon like Pikachu and Dragonite sharing space with fan-favorite creatures like Umbreon, Metagross, and Espurr from later games. Where to catch all Pokémon in Lumiose City
There are 230 Pokemon in “Pokemon Legends: ZA”, and they are scattered throughout Lumiose City. We've also organized our guides based on their Pokédex entries. Here are some extra tidbits to remember:
- If you are just getting started, we encourage you to check out our Best Getting Started Guide and Guide to the Best Early Game Creatures.
 - The vast majority of Pokémon are found in wilderness areas, which are similar to their native habitats. You'll only see a few of them early in the game. However, as you progress further into the campaign, you'll unlock more of these areas. The last one, “Wild Zone 20”, can be entered after clearing the main story.
 - Certain Pokémon can spawn in other locations, such as sewers, alleys, and rooftops. Some are obtained as rewards for side missions.
 - alpha variant and shiny variant Can be generated, albeit randomly, rather than the regular version.
 - Some Pokémon appear only during the day (i.e. diurnal), while a few appear only at night (i.e. nocturnal). You can speed up the passage of time and the day-night cycle by resting on a bench.
 - The game also sees the return of Mega Evolution, a powerful but temporary power boost that has the potential to turn the tide of a battle if used correctly. we are in our Mega Evolution Guide.
 - The Mega Dimension expansion pack will launch on February 28, 2026. This paid DLC will focus on more Mega Evolutions and Raichu, as Pichu and Pikachu's final evolved forms will feature prominently in the story expansion.

notes: Even if the Pokémon are already in your Pokédex, it's a good idea to keep catching them. This is because you can continue to earn points from statistics that are part of Mable research. As your level increases, you will receive rewards including Technical Machines/TM.
