WWE 2K25 celebrates legend John Cena with farewell tour version

It's impossible to think of wrestling without thinking of John Cena, so WWE 2K25's tag makes perfect sense He retires later this year and a special tribute expansion released today. As part of IGN Fall Fan Fest 2025, we got a look at some new fan-favorite gameplay.
The WWE 2K25 Farewell Tour Edition and WWE 2K25 Farewell Tour Edition packs include new playable wrestlers and cosmetics as part of their new content.

Cena made his video game debut in 2003 at WWE WrestleMania XIX and has since appeared in 38 more games as the Peacemaker in WWE games and games such as Fortnite.
Despite retirement plans, Cena said he intends to work with his “WWE family” in some capacity for a long time to come.
“I always tell the crowd, WWE is my home and I love it,” Cena added. “Just because I physically feel like I've reached the end of my rope doesn't mean I need to distance myself from the things I love.”
