Battlefield 6 Now that it's been released, in the blink of an eye the game's servers are packed with hundreds of thousands of players waiting to join.
IGN is one of many server queues facing today (October 10) as developers at Battlefield Studios prepare for the upcoming Hordes.
As of the publication of this article, less than an hour after “Battlefield 6” was launched, the number of simultaneous online players on Steam reached a staggering 606,000. The true number of concurrent users will be much higher, but Microsoft and Sony don't disclose the number of Xbox and PlayStation players.
EA issued a statement It said it expected many players to be logged in at the same time when the game launched, so a queuing system was added for this “peak” moment.
“We are providing a brief update to our login queue in preparation for the launch of Battlefield 6 later today,” the statement read.
“Battlefield 6 launches today at 15:00 UTC, and we expect many people to log in simultaneously during this initial moment.
“To help ensure everyone has a smooth, stable login experience, we’ve added a queuing system during this and other peak times.
“Thank you for your patience as we launch Battlefield 6!”
exist recent statementsEA says it's getting as many players in as possible, so queues should be “relatively short.”
“With the game now live, a lot of people will be jumping in at the same time,” EA said. “To help keep things smooth and stable for everyone, the login queue is active during this peak launch moment. We're trying to get as many people logged in as possible, so the queue should be relatively short. Steam users, please note that if the Play button isn't showing, restarting the Steam client will resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience, and we hope you enjoy the launch of Battlefield 6!”
