The Predator is coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone – but fans are hoping they can push him into Black Ops 7

Eleven years after its introduction in 2014's Call of Duty: Ghosts, the Predator is back in Call of Duty.
Activision has confirmed the Predator's arrival in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 6 as part of the Seasonal Haunting event on October 9. It's a timely crossover Dan Trachtenberg’s Upcoming Predator: Into the Badlands Movie.
The images and trailer below give us a look at what we can expect from the Predator later this week. Season 6 launches shortly after the ongoing Black Ops 7 Beta ends on October 9 (it just extended 24 hours).
It's worth noting that Black Ops 6 cosmetics won't be coming to Black Ops 7 (Well, almost everyone doesn't). So when Black Ops 7 launches in November, you won't see the Predator running around. However, cosmetics will remain playable in Battle Royale Warzone.
Call of Duty's foray into silly skin territory is well-documented, though recent releases have certainly increased the conversation around it significantly. With the likes of Beavis and Butt-Head and American Dad competing soon this year Weed Bondage starring Seth Rogensome fans say they've had enough of their beloved Call of Duty's “Fortnite-fiews” and are pleading with publisher Activision to return to its MIL-SIM roots.
Then, last month, Activision shocked the Call of Duty community It confirms Black Ops 6 operators, operator skins and weapons will no longer carry over to Black Ops 7. This is a big surprise for players who were expecting the content they purchased for Black Ops 6, just like previous titles did. Explaining the decision, Activision said Black Ops 7 “needs to feel authentic to Call of Duty and its setting.”
There was a positive response to the Predator in Black Ops 6, although some said they hoped he would come to Black Ops 7. “It would be nice to see COD do work with other established IPS.” Redditor BlackViking147 says. “The Mir-generated skin is still the only one I'm interested in completing the cod fight, and I'm using it in today's Warzone because Keith David expressed it.
“Predator, Rambo, Dead, spawned all of these are amazing collaborations that don't ruin the identity of the game as they were the movie properties around the time the game was played, or stand out in Milsim Gear, so it stays aesthetically.”
“It would be great to have this skin in Blops 7,” Added Laylalegion. “Oh, okay. Guess I just have to revisit all my BP skins for the third time because some people would rather do that than get over the Ninja Turtles in the game.”
This comment relates to The ongoing debate over Activision's decision to kill Black Ops 7. Despite online chat, there are many Call of Duty fans expressing frustration that their silly skins won't carry over to Black Ops 7, preventing them from getting a lot of use out of their anticipated purchases. Now, if these players continue into Black Ops 7, they will have to leave these expensive virtual items behind, including Predator.
