Silent Hill 2 Remake May Come to PS Plus Plus for Extra Halloween

A year ago, this week, the Bloober team remakes Konami's classic survival horror champion Silent Hill 2 Publish on gaming consoles and PCs. Now, the acclaimed reboot is reportedly heading to PS Plus for an extra later this month.

according to trade (pass Insider Game), Silent Mountain 2 will arrive on PS Plus on October 21st extra, “unless any last-minute surprises.” Sony hasn't confirmed that yet, but if it's true, it will bring the game to service in time for Halloween.

Like the original game in 2001, the Silent Hill 2 remake puts players in control of James Sunderland, who was lured into the Silent Hill by his late wife, Mary, three years after her death. But, James is not a loving party, but finds his own personal hell. This story is also the basis of the upcoming live-action sequel. Return to the silent mountainwill be released in theaters on January 23, 2026.

Earlier this year, Konami announced the signing of the Bloober team Remake of original silent mountainthe 1999 PlayStation game started the series. After release Cronos: New DawnPiotr Babieno, CEO of the Bloober team, shared his wishes More Horror Games 2 on Nintendo Switch 2.
