Microsoft has confirmed that it has canceled the discount on Xbox Game Pass purchased by DLC. Instead, it provides subscribers with more points to use in their reward schemes.
Last week, as part of a controversial change to Xbox Game Pass, Found Microsoft took out a 10% DLC discount in the game pass game, and the final subscriber will be able to get itseems to be in favor of its new rewards program.
The news first emerged when Call of Duty Community found that final subscribers are no longer eligible for 10% of cod points as well as Blackcell. Discounts are considered very valuable for fans who play Call of Duty through the game pass.
But fans found that the discount range was beyond the scope of responsibility to cover most individual DLC packages for game pass games. These were not mentioned last week Final subscription price increase announcement.

Microsoft has now issued an IGN statement confirming the changes and pointing subscribers to its official website for more information.
“This is not a specific specific to any game and reflects the purchase of all games and DLCs. Instead of buying selected games and add-on combinations in the game pass library, the final and quality subscribers will receive 10% and 5% of revenue, respectively. The final member enjoys 20% off during this period when the final discount and rewards are offered in the game and earn points in the store, earning more, 2x and 4x respectively. here. ”
Obviously, like many retailers, Microsoft's game here is to get your funds spinning around its ecosystem rather than bank accounts. Microsoft wants its customers to spend the full amount and then put their savings in bonus points so they can spend it on gift cards and save cash in the Xbox ecosystem, rather than allowing customers to save their own money.
This is the latest development of Microsoft Game Pass, and this is launched Strong opposition to Microsoft's decision to raise the price of Xbox Game Pass Eltimate From $19.99 per month to $29.99 per month (an extra $120 per year).
To justify the final price increase, Microsoft raised the number of first-day issuances to 75 each year, and added Fortnite Crew and Ubisoft+ Classics for the first time. The quality of Xbox Cloud game streaming has also been upgraded.
Ubisoft+ Classics (valued at $7.99/£6.99 per month) is now part of Ultimate. Starting November 18, Fortnite crew members (the monthly fee of $11.99/£9.99 per month on its own) will be included in Ultimate and will be available with the Fortnite Battle Pass and 1,000 V-Bucks.
Cloud gaming improves better performance. The end subscribers “only enjoy our best streaming and shortest waiting times,” Microsoft said. Xbox Cloud Gaming also officially exited Beta, “as part of our commitment to making gameplay smoother and quicker.”
Microsoft said the new $30 per month final price reflects “an expanded catalog, new partner benefits and an upgraded cloud gaming experience.”
The new premium tier (the so-called standard) will add new Xbox release games within a year of release, but that does not include Call of Duty games. This means that if you want to play Call of Duty through the game pass in time, you’re almost forced to pay for the ultimate. In a year, it's $360. And now, you don't even get 10% COD points or BlackCell.
Fans are running numbers and reevaluating whether the game pass is still suitable for them. Black Ops 7 was launched in Beta before the November release date and is a $70 game (Microsoft backtracked at the price of Obsidian's Outer 2 2 after gamers vehemently protested). IGN's poll on the issue (with more than 32,000 voters now) shows that 53.2% of our listeners will not subscribe to the game pass at all. 20.7% say they will still get the final despite the price increase.
