97% Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Activision said the cheater was arrested within 30 minutes of logging in to the beta.
The giant publisher said its opposition efforts, known as the Ricochet team, “reached the highest attitude” and “less than 1% of cheating attempts reached a game.”
“Checkers are expected. However, our upgraded systems capture them faster than ever and are powered by enhanced TPM 2.0 inspection and automation systems, helping to eliminate a lot of attempts to cheat,” Activision Explained. “Those who have managed to go through it don’t last long. Most people never compete.
“You may have seen snippets of scams in Black Ops 7 Beta. We've already done action on most accounts before these accounts accessed social media. We're watching carefully, acting in real time, and learning from every attempt.”
Activision also reminds players that while the Ricochet team’s anti-actual detection system prevents most cheaters from even participating in the competition, players report that they “still play a significant role” because they “help to fuel our detection models, improve law enforcement and improve coverage.”
Interestingly, Activision also talks about individuals and companies selling cheats, saying most major cheat providers acknowledge that their tools are “unavailable” for Black Ops 7 and “beyond in-game execution”, targeting them since more than 40 cheat developers and resellers. Black Ops 6 Launched last year.
“This is just the beginning. Every layer of protection will go all out when the launch arrives, and Ricochet Anti-Cheat's defense will only get stronger,” the statement concluded. “The fight against cheating is a challenge across the board – we are committed to leading the allegation. We continue to bring new systems online online during Beta, fine-tuning our protections, responding faster and gaining deeper insights. We are committed to transparency, community feedback, and ongoing development in our level playing field.”
last week, Activision says it's clear that cheaters will hit Black Ops 7 BetaAnd warn PC gamers that they will If TPM 2.0 is not enabled and fixed startup, it cannot be played during beta or at release. It also added that getting cheats in Beta is “what we want because the Ricochet team is here, watching, learning and deleting them. Any account that permanently bans cheating during Beta will be in all Call of Duty, from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Modern Warfare to future releases.”
