In Nintendo's latest direct sales, Nintendo fans were informed, and there was no news, not one, not two, but three modern evil games that will come to Nintendo Switch 2: Village, Requiem and Biohazard. But according to the developers at Requiem, this is not always planned. In fact, the team initially didn't intend to bring anything to the Switch 2.
Producer Masato Kumazawa spoke to me on the Tokyo Game Show, explaining the story of how the Nintendo Switch 2 ended the three most modern Resident Evil games as it entered the system:
When we started planning this game (Requiem), the Switch 2 was not announced yet, so of course it wasn't in the original plan. When Switch 2 was announced, we were able to start testing games for developing games, and we thought it would be great if the Resident Evil series could be brought to the platform. We started with the internal transplant of Resident Evil: Village and see if it's good on hardware and looks really great, so this gave us the confidence to add the Switch 2 version of Reqiuem to the plan, which brought us into the recent announcement that we confirmed that Reqiuem is not only coming, but that 7 and 8 will also be in NINTENTENDO SWITHS SWITCH SWITS 2 at the same time.
It's no surprise that Kumazawa is cheering for 2 ports of his own game, but I did a brief Resident Evil: Requiem on the Tokyo Game Show in handheld mode and…yes, it looks pretty good! I asked him as a follow-up if there was something unique about the game 2 version, and his answer was, no, “very good”. Just the Requiem on Switch 2, which can be done on the go. Although I was briefly sampled on this experience, I felt optimistic from this brief demonstration, according to kumazawa not only speaks here.
We have a preview of Resident Evil: Requiem of Last Month, you can Read our impressions of what we have seen here so far. You can also check out my rest of the discussions with Nakanishi and Kumazawa, including continuing to work hard to get them in Say something about Leon Kennedyand why the couple has worked hard over the years to figure out which qualify for “terrible”. We have Talked to two people before On many other themes, such as the return of Raccoon City and the game's new monster design.
