The match status doesn't reveal a new God of War game, but Sony does announce the 20th anniversary of the Kratos PS5 controller

God of War 20th anniversary is here, and Sony ensures to celebrate the milestone in September 2025 game state by showing longtime fans something special: a new controller.
The PlayStation-Minaker revealed its KRATOS-themed PS5 DualSense controller at the end of today's demo, showing off its off-white color and blood-red markings. This is not the new God of War game announcement that many people may wish to see, but it does confirm that it will be launched in October for $84.99, with pre-orders open at 10 a.m. local time on October 3.

Sony even likes Astro Bot so much that the mascot doesn't one but two Collector's limited edition controller.
