Martin Scorses's Casino celebrates 30th anniversary with limited edition 4K Blu-ray

This year marks the 30th anniversary of director Martin Scorse's gambling crime drama casino and is released through Casino 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Steelbook On 4K Blu-ray. Booking is now open on Amazon and Walmart, although we are still waiting for a solid release date.

This 30th anniversary release includes digital copies of 4K Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray and movies. Of course, you also get a stunning steel book that includes the main cast in the front and other artwork on the back of the box and on the interior. It's a very stunning design that perfectly captures the glitz and charm of Las Vegas. Both Dolby Audio and HDR are supported, which should help bring old 1995 movies to life on modern screens.
Both Amazon and Walmart are available for pre-order. The latter is currently available for $30, while the former list is $35. Once we have a solid release date, both prices may remain consistent – and book at either retailer to qualify for a price cut from now to release.

If you don't need fancy steel books, you'll find traditional 4K Blu-ray casinos for sale for just $13. Like Steel, it supports Dolby Audio and HDR and is bundled with standard Blu-ray and digital movies. Unlike Steelbooks, it is available today.

Directed by Martin Scorsese and adapted from “Casino: Love and Honor” by writer Nicholas Pileggi in Las Vegas, casino star Robert De Niro plays Sam “Ace” Rothstein, a gambling expert who has hired gambling experts to be in the fun probe casino in Las Vegas. The film is from 1973 to 1983 after Sam's life, during which he was entangled in mafia politics, the world of liars and the FBI investigation. The film is one of Scorsese's more overlooked projects, and has received more acclaim than many of his other films, but since its premiere, the critics' re-evaluation has been positive and is now considered one of the director's more powerful films.
