Battlefield 6 How to approach locking and opening weapons

As launch day Battlefield 6 The approach is that the fan community has fiercely debated some new features and changes to the game. For example, in early testing, the game will have the “open” class of shared weapons arsenal, with many players asking to return the “lock” class of the “lock” category in the series. In the new interview, the developer explained its approach and promised that two types of game modes will be used in the game.
Historically, many battlefield games have focused around courses that have unique weapons besides abilities and items. Especially for fans of Bad Company Games or Battlefield 3 and 4 4, the course with unique weapons makes the series different from other first-person shooters series. However, the developers have left the system in recent games and will implement a fully open course in Battlefield 6 – at least In certain game modes.
Speech IGNMatthew Nickerson, console combat designer at Ripple Effect, shares that the goal of developers is to be as agnostic as possible, such as open-ended or locked classes. Essentially, the team’s approach is to support different options in the Battlefield 6 portal and other game modes, providing a foundation for players to choose the type of game they want.
“We really don’t want to make decisions and don’t really want to experience the battlefield,” Nixon said. “I know we’re supporting open weapons and closed weapons suits in portals and different game modes… We want to support (open and locked courses) to move forward, and again, the key mantra of Battlefield 6 is, ‘Play takerfield the way you want, so we make sure we support open and closed systems. We just don’t want to make decisions for players.”
Worth mentioning This is a little hidden. We may need to wait for the final version to see exactly how this functionality is implemented and to what extent the developers support both styles of gameplay. At the same time, we may get information about the game Single player mode On the Tokyo Game Show later this month. Battlefield 6 will launch PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 10.
