Booking for Mario Tennis Fever is Live – Switch 2's first Mario Sports Game

Mario Tennis Hot is Available for bookings of $70 Before its release on February 12 next year, it will be at several major retailers. The latest Mario Sports game is the first game for the Nintendo Switch 2, and it will be exclusive to the new hardware. Like most Nintendo releases Switch 2 titles, Mario Tennis Fever retails for $70.

The complete game is stored on the Switch 2 game card. Nintendo estimates that the digital version of Mario Tennis Fever is downloaded with a 10GB download, and can be pre-ordered on ESHOP for the same price.

Technically, Mario Tennis Hot is the second Mario Sports game released exclusively on the Switch 2. Nintendo recently added Super Mario Strikers to the Gamecube directory Online switch + expansion package member. But Mario Tennis Hot is the first new Mario Sports match of the Switch 2.

Mario Tennis Hot will have local and online multiplayer games with up to four players. It supports button/stick controls as well as motion controls for Joy-Con 2. The nickname “Fever” is a new twist to this entry: Fever Racket. There are 30 fever rackets with unique special effects, such as freezing the court and shrinking the opponent's racket.

In the new adventure mode, monsters living on a mysterious island turn Mario, Luigi, Peach, Volio and Varuji into babies. Donkey Kong is also on the campaign trail, but he is not a baby (sadly). Baby Mario and his friends will need to develop their tennis skills again to escape the island.

Other game modes include test towers, tournaments, ranking matches, online rooms, and mixed use. Mario Tennis Fever will borrow from Super Mario Bros. Wonder by making flower comments in game mode and introducing a Wonder effect to mix it.

Mario Sports Games on Nintendo Switch

The last Mario Tennis Game Mario Tennis ACES was released in 2018 and is also the first original Switch to the Mario Sports champion. Since the Nintendo Switch 2 is backward compatible, you can play the trio of Mario Sports Games to open up new consoles: Mario Tennis ACES, Mario Golf: Super Rush: Super Rush and Mario Strikers: Battle League.
