The new Fire Emblem was announced in 2026 on Nintendo Direct

Nintendo closed Nintendo when it announced Fire Emblem: Fortune's braided in September 2025.

The first trailer below shows tactical combat, a bunch of movies, and teases the story, which happens with the “Exciting Game of Heroes”.

Expected to be released sometime on the 2026 Nintendo Switch 2.

The heroic game has begun. The latest entry in the Fire Emblem series will enter the arena. The debut trailer offers a glimpse of intertwined stories, characters and turn-based tactical RPG gameplay that awaits players when it launches for the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
