Super Mario Galaxy Nintendo Switch series bookings have been broadcast live

Bookings for the Super Mario Galaxy Collection for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 begin to be available at major retailers. Priced at $70, Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 launches October 2 in physical and digital formats. Nintendo Announce The latest enhanced version of the beloved Wii game Nintendo Direct.

The first galaxy game used to be Super Mario 3D All-Star Serieshas been out of print for many years and is no longer available for sale on Eshop. This is the first time Super Mario Galaxy 2 can be played on Nintendo's modern hardware.

The Super Mario Galaxy series saves you $10 instead of buying the $40 game separately from Eshop. Nintendo offers free upgrades to Switch 2 and improves performance. The update will be available at launch for anyone who purchases the physical or digital version of Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2.

In docking mode, the game will run at 1080p on the switch and 4K on the switch 2. Each game supports traditional button/rock controls, as well as motion controls for those who want to stick with the initial experience in Wii Games. Like several other modern Mario games, assist modes have been added to make these platformer games more accessible to newbies and young people.

Nintendo also added new Rosalina's storybook chapters and will release the original storybook (including new pages) as an actual book for $25 on November 25. Rosalina's story book is published by Dark Horse and includes complete illustrations.

In addition to attending Super Mario's 40th anniversary celebration, the series can also help these games attract new players Super Mario Galaxy Movie It premieres in the theater in April next year. Nintendo also released two Amibo characters featuring Mario and Rosalina (and of course Luma). Amiibo will not be available when the collection is launched; instead, Nintendo saved new numbers for the release month of the movie. Mario Galaxy Amiibo will be available on April 2, 2026. Pricing details have not been confirmed, but those figures may retail for $30.
