Nintendo confirms Super Mario Galaxy movies and first trailer for April 2026

Nintendo has begun today September 2025 Nintendo Direct By confirming that Illumination recreates a new Super Mario Bros. movie called Super Mario Galaxy.

This arrived after confirmation Rumors swept the internet Yesterday, it was revealed that Nintendo will indeed be working with Minions Movie Studio again to create a movie adaptation of the classic 2007 Wii Platformer. It is scheduled to arrive in the U.S. on April 3, 2026 and in Japan on April 24, 2026, with its first trailer showing a small amount of footage before showing its official championship and logo.
