Octopus Traveler 0 platform specifications reveal town size limitations for certain devices

Square Enix has announced Octopus Traveler 0 When it launches for PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, building location restrictions for some consoles will be imposed. S this December.
Details about hardware limitations are revealed along with the full platform specifications of the Octopus Traveler Prequel. It comes with information about resolution and what FPS PCs and consoles can achieve, while warning players of older hardware that the HD-2D RPG experience may make some noticeable differences.
PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and the latest PC will support the largest town building location limit to 500. However, those who play on Switch 2 and PS4 will see the building's location reduced to 400.
If you play games on the original switch, Octopus Traveler's town size is even more, Square Enix shares Nintendo's first hybrid console with only 250 at most. That's just half the players on the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S will see. It is not clear how much the size of these towns will vary when players are played.

In terms of resolution and FPS, the PS5 and Xbox Series X are of course supported by up to 3840 x 2160 and 120 fps, the PC player is able to select its preferred performance settings based on its settings. The Xbox Series S supports 120 fps at 1920 x 1080, and both the PS4 and Switch 2 are 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps. Finally, Octopus Traveler 0 played on the original switch will support up to 30 fps at a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720.
While Switch 2 players have the option to play the Octopus Traveler Prequel on the road, they should know that Square Enix recently revealed a physical version of the experience Available as a game key card only. On the other hand, the Switch 1 owner can pick up the actual physical card, but there is no option to upgrade to the Switch 2 version.
