The server browser will be Battlefield 6 Through the Battlefield Portal, developer Dice announced.
As the dice prepares to “recover the latest updates and content” through its battlefield lab-enclosed player test, the team revealed that players can not only try new maps previously used in closed or open BetaS, but will also get a “first-time view server browser.”
As EA explains, Battlefield Labs is an experimental environment, with “the latest changes and ongoing work ideas being tested with players in closed and private spaces.” The available content will be at various stages of production, including projects in Alpha State, which may lead to polishing and/or unstable builds. This allows dice to balance and adjust faster when “shaping the future of the game with the community to shape the future of the game.” ”
The next collection of game sets will focus primarily on hosting, and the team will “focus on setting up the servers owned by the player, using predefined shortcodes, changing descriptions, selecting tags and joining these experiences”. To this end, we introduce the Battlefield Portal user interface for the first time.
Diss is Community blog. “In the upcoming Battlefield Lab competition, we will enable early implementation of this portal feature in the Community tab. At this stage, our main goal is to observe how it works in practice, with initial feedback focusing on accessibility and UI clarity.”
Players will be able to use the experience library to find a proven conquest experience using the fast code, which players can then choose from a pre-filtered list of active servers, or host their own conquest experience, where they can change descriptions, rotations, tags, and more. Of course, it should still be considered as ongoing work now, and DICE wants feedback in the matches of the Battlefield Lab participants.
The next batch of closed tests will also usher in new maps, Firestorm Operation and Mirak Valley, designed for arm combat and vehicle combinations, including four-wheeled bikes, tanks and aircraft.
So far we have had a great time in our performance Battlefield 6 review: “Now, even in Beta, Battlefield 6 is probably the most fun shooter I've ever played this year.”
