Starfield Developer Bethesda finally teased some of the upcoming changes in the game, confirming improvements in space gameplay “make travel more meaningful.”

Earlier this month Snippets of code found by Starfield fans show Bethesda's space travel experience is more streamlinedalthough there may still be some warnings. While you may be able to travel between planets in the same system, fans say it looks like you can't fly Always Between the systems. And it looks like you won't be able to fly directly from the planet's surface to orbit, like a sky without people.

Now, in A new video discussing his careersenior Bethesda developer Tim Lamb confirmed that the studio has been working on Starfield's space gameplay and is still launching new DLC stories at some point.

“I think on Starfield, I’m really excited for the players to see what the team has been doing,” he said. “We have some cool stuff coming, including free updates and features that players have been asking for, and a new DLC story.

“I can't go into all the details yet, but I'm going to say that part of the team has been focusing on space gameplay to make the trip more meaningful. We've also added some new game systems, and some other smaller fun. Our proven creators also have something really interesting, and these things fall from our proven creators. There's something interesting. There's something interesting.

“I just want to say thank you. We appreciate your support and enthusiasm. We can't wait to get it in the hands of the players.”
