Part 2 brings back the original creative director of the series for a new survivor extraction experience

Ubisoft is retaining Tom Clancy's Level 2 With the announcement of new survival extraction experiences, the update is called Survivor.

“As some of you already figured out, winter, the extraction experience of survival is coming,” said Jenn. “I know some of you are like fans of the survival mode I have in the first division, obviously, we think those who like that will be very, very happy, but it's not just a remake. We're doing something cool new.”
He admitted that considering the 2nd Division: Survivors were so early in development. However, Jansén does have a note for fans to leave: “But what I'm going to say is a trailer, and it's a hint that maybe the biggest new thing we're going to do is there.”
He added: “So, I'm going to leave it there and I'm back next year.”
We have to wait at least a few months to get to know Part 2 first: Survivors. The release date on this roadmap is currently listed as “TBA” and therefore it won't arrive at the earliest until later in 2026. However, Ubisoft does offer a first-time view of concept art for fans of desire (pictured above), which may provide more tips on the scenes players may find themselves when they eventually launch.
“Part 2: Survivors are as many as our children and we strive to be transparent as we develop,” executive producer Julian Gerighty said in a statement. “Clear communication and community engagement are a priority as we build new experiences and we will be closely connected with you as we continue our journey.”
Departmental revival
Gamescom today also includes announcements from the department, as well as updates about Ubisoft's upcoming free mobile RPG MMO, Departmental revival. Closed beta phase for iOS and Android users will begin in September this year, with Ubisoft pushing interested players to sign up here.
“The revival of the department brings players back to the streets of Manhattan, a few months after the end of Division 1,” the official description of the Mobile Spindera said. “As familiar maps are updated to reflect the passage of time, the department’s recovery will bridge the narrative gap between Level 1 and 2, adding additional stories to the story over time.”
To encourage other feedback from fans, Ubisoft is pushing players Sign up Plan for its elite working group. The publisher’s message calls it “the opportunity for our most dedicated players to interact directly with our development team and assist in guiding the department’s future.”
