Star Valley Developer Eric “follows” Barone revealed that when his fan favorite farm SIM card worked with other franchises, he didn't ask for any compensation, saying he just did it because “(he) is a fan of other games, or because (he) really thinks players will like it.”
The statement is in the fans ready in Stardust Valley and Infinite Nikiwill be broadcast live on September 1. Although we still don't know much about what this will involve, there are already some surprising mixed reactions from the community Distracting the leaker's recent controversy.
“Over the years, there have been some collaborations between Stardust Valley and other games,” Baron Posted Yesterday on X/Twitter. “To be clear, I never received any money from these collaborations. I did this because I was a fan of other games or because I really thought players would like it.”
Interestingly, Infinity Nikki responded directly to Barone from its official X/Twitter account.

“It's like we're all together on the whole farm. The care and details you pour into the world are exactly what we want to make comfortable games, too. We're still learning from you every day.”
To be fair, it feels as if the consequences of Stardew Valley's collaboration are just a matter of bad timing here. The Infinity Nikki community has been upset since then Update 1.5 Some controversial changes have been added to the game, such as re-tuning the Infinity Nikki story and strengthening the investment in money and time needed to collect the complete outfit.
Nor does Barone do this often. Stardew Valley has only worked with a few other games, e.g. Balatro and Terraria.
Back in May, Baron admitted that he “didn't want to be just a guy in Stardust Valley” explaining why he is currently working on it Haunted Chocolate. However, we shouldn't expect a release date anytime soon – Baron recently admitted that “there is still a lot to do”, especially since he feels it is “To Be Better” than Star Valley.
