Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 campaign has no hard options, Treyarch explains why

As long as there is a campaign for the Call of Duty campaign, you can choose to play in any of the difficulties that best suit you. Whether it’s a recruit, normal, hardened or veteran, long-term cod knows their level. But this year's entry, Black Ops 7, won't let you choose.

Black Ops 7 events can be played solo or collaboratively, and can be played for up to four players. As part of this, the difficulty scale is based on the number of plays and cannot be adjusted in the settings.

“We've built it for solo or four-player squads as well. You cannot pick a difficult like past games. We've baked it in because you have to approach a co-op campaign differently, and we wanted to make sure the missions felt right for solo players — we're not forgetting about you, we love you — but also because it is a social experience we want to make sure it's fun, but the right amount of challenging for two, three, and four players as well.”

So, in this year’s Call of Duty, there are no more senior-level single-player fans running for. Do you like to test yourself with the toughest challenges that cod sport must offer? Are you disappointed with the fact that Black Ops 7 doesn't have this option when it launches?
