6 years after release, the only official John Wick video game removed from all platforms

Just six years after its release, the only officially licensed John Wick video game was removed from the sale.
Bithell Games is well received John Wick Hex Launched in October 2019. It's a fast-paced, action-oriented strategy game that “makes you think and strike like John Wick.” Of course, John Wick is a very popular action hero known as Keanu Reeves.
Fast forward six years and John Wick Hex will prepare the digital scrapheap. In an update for the gaming community, publisher Big Fan Games (part of Devolver Digital) said John Wick Hex will be removed on all platforms starting July 17, 2025.
After July 17, current owners of John Wick Hex will still be able to access the game through the digital library of PCs and consoles, and of course, the physical copy will continue to work on the console. But, no matter the platform or storefront, a new purchase of John Wick hexadecimal is impossible.
Big Fan Games didn't say why John Wick Hex was removed from the sale, but it seemed to be the result of a license granted with John Wick Willipt Holder Lionsgate Entertainment. IGN asked Big Fan to comment.
The expiration of the license is one of the main reasons why video games are eventually pulled out by the storefront. You usually see it using video games with licensed music. It happened Alan Wake,,,,, Star Wars: The Old Republic trailerand Specification operation: OKto name a few. Video game protectionists often call on video game companies to do more to keep their products alive when this happens. As for Bithell games, it released Tron:Catalyst last month. The game was developed in collaboration with Disney and Pixar games and was set within the Tron world.
As for John Wick, he's recently spin-off Ballet dancerand John Wick 5 is again starring Keanu Reeves, and is developingalthough we are not sure when it will come out. Director Chad Stahelski recently said He's still trying to figure out how to make John Wick 5's Keanu Reeves in 4. at the same time, Keanu Reeves reportedly pays a company several thousand dollars a month to get companies like Tiktok and Meta to shoot down imitators.
Lionsgate has confirmed that it is making the John Wick AAA video game, though it knows nothing about it.
