“Cabinet of Treasures” contains Guillermo del Toro's illustrated diary, production notes and other contents. These works allow us to understand the development of his visual sensibility and to examine more closely the common themes in his work. The book also includes a lengthy interview with del Toro by New York Times bestselling author and filmmaker Marc Scott Zicree, who discusses del Toro's personal inspirations.
Although this deal is for the new 2025 version of Curiosities Cabinet, 2013 original version It's still available on Amazon for $64. Although the content of the two books is essentially the same, the old book may have shown worse wear and tear after sitting in an Amazon warehouse for 12 years. We only recommend purchasing this edition while the 2025 edition is sold out, but it's worth remembering.
Del Toro's latest project is Frankenstein, a Netflix film based on Mary Shelley's classic story about Victor Frankenstein and his monster. The film's cast includes Oscar Isaac as the infamous doctor and Jacob Elordi as his resurrected creation.
