23 user mods compete for $50,000 in NVIDIA's RTX Remix Mod Contest

NVIDIA RTX REMIX is a modified platform for RTX AI PCs that remakes classic games by adding full ray tracing, enhancing textures, adjusting lighting, moving environment objects, and adding DLSS 4 to improve image quality and performance. The RTX mix will be released in March this year, using it already has over 350 event projects and over 100 released mods.
To showcase the improvements in this technology, NVIDIA hosted a competition that includes 23 user-created mods that offer a wide range of classic games, including Bioshock, Portal 2, and multiple needs for speed, Star Wars and Call of Duty games. These mods will face four categories in four categories, totaling $50,000 grabs, and the winners will be announced on Gamescom on August 18. Categories are: Community Choice RTX MOD, the most complete RTX MOD, the best use of RTX in MOD, and the best overall RTX MOD.

Call of Duty 2 Carenten's RTX Remix by TADPOLE3159
This is a complete remake of the Carenten map in Call of Duty 2, basically a remake of each asset and surface. Creator tadpole3159 goes beyond it, performing photo scans on real-world war 2 combat suits and kits and putting them into the game through a process called photogrammetry.
